Daniel Radcliffe replaces Jesse Eisenberg in Kill Your Darlings

The Harry Potter series is officially over and star Daniel Radcliffe is wasting no time in helping people forget he was the bespectacled wizard for over 10 years. The young actor has THE WOMAN IN BLACK on the way in 2012 and now today it looks like he’s set to join the indie film KILL YOUR DARLINGS. Radcliffe will play famous beat poet Allen Ginsberg in the film that will focus on the relationship between Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and Lucien Carr. The film is set to be directed by John Krokidas.

The film has been around for a while and at one time had Chris Evans, Ben Whishaw and Jesse Eisenberg attached to star, but it seems the entire plan has been scrapped. Radcliffe is now the only one attached (taking over for Eisenberg). Ginsberg, of course, has been portrayed on film several times, most recently by James Franco in HOWL.
